The RBI Recognized Self-Regulatory Organization for Payment System Operators (PSOs). The SRPA will work closely with the RBI to formalize its governance framework, compliance protocols, and operational standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory objectives and industry best practices.

SRPA aims to advance the shared vision of building a safe, secure, and inclusive digital payments environment that continues to power India’s digital economy.

Currently, 18 leading payment system operators are part of the SRO.
